This is the new home of topics on clay, pottery and sculpture . I decided to redo this website/blog in order to connect primarily with potters around the world. Since the thirty some odd years ago that I began my love affair with clay, many new advances have been made in the field of ceramics.Some good, some, not so much. However, one thing is certain, and that is, our technology allows us  to share, in real time, all sorts of information. And though that may seem obvious, the impact on artists is profound, not just in how we create, but what we create.And the art world is a better place because of it.

With this in mind, I want to share not only my thoughts, photos etc., but I invite you to send me your thoughts, and photos.  There are people who actually learn how to throw a vessel from youtube! I say embrace it all.
